The Announcement

📢 This is an important update from the Transition Council regarding asset return.

As per the announcement on July 15, 2024, the Transition Council has begun working through the shut down of Guilds and Departments. Part of this is recovering outstanding DAO assets that remain in the DAO’s subgroup multisigs.

At the second meeting of the Transition Council (July 5. 2024), we discussed the ‘blank slate’ option put forward in this tlBANK Snapshot vote and more recently, this Forum post. While the Snapshot vote was split between creation of workstreams and a blank slate approach, Forum discussions reflect support for a clean start.

To make a clean start, we need to remove existing org units: Guilds and Departments. This was a difficult decision, because of the memories, experiences, and infrastructure familiarity attached to these groups, but to move forward we need to make way for new ideas. The Transition Council members see the benefit of letting go with intention while retaining the lessons learned.

Members of the Transition Council now respectfully request that signers for each Guild’s and Department’s multisig initiate and approve a transaction to return all remaining tokens to the DAO Vault.

The Request

Guilds and Departments have been dissolved as part of our reorganization. As such, the Transition Council requests that any assets remaining in these groups’ multisigs be returned to the DAO Treasury.

For any Projects that have not previously sent back 10% of their revenue to the DAO, now would be a lovely time to do so!

For any questions, please reach out in the #transition-council channel so discussion threads can be opened on a case-by-case basis.

The Accounting

Multisigs that have already returned funds have been hidden from this list. These are the remaining multisigs that still hold funds.
