Once this is survey is done, we need to pick a name and we need to do it kinda quietly. We’re likely to get sniped when we try to create branded socials and accounts, so we don’t want to create too much noise. I’d like to think that wouldn’t happen here, but we’ve experienced some pretty big unethical situations in the past already (and who knows who else is watching from the outside who may wish to simply extort us) so I think we should avoid letting our guard down.

Maybe we come up with a few names internally and then vote on them internally. It limits the public exposure and potential malicious actor potential.

How do we attach permissions to branding?

Let’s not run into the same problems HQ did with the Bankless brand being used by the DAO.
Perhaps this is another opportunity for revenue generation and incentive alignment
Staking ETH to use the brand?
- What would a yield look like on this?
- What would a minimum lock term be?
- Is it “worth it” to the treasury to generate yields like that?
- If someone unstakes after creating branded content, what happens with the previously-branded content on their channels or org name?
  - (There’s not really anything we could do to control that besides implementing a minimum staking period to avoid people time-gaming the staking system.)
