A proposal to solve an overpopulated marketing coordinape round. A possible solution is to filter the access to the monthly marketing coordinape rounds to active contributors only. This can be done via on-chain proof of a completed DeWork Bounty or holding a role
Problem Statement: In the Governance Bi-Weekly call we discussed the challenges of Coordinape and agreed that the current coordinate solution is a challenge because a lot of “members” who did not contribute anything are part of the epochs at the moment.
In Order to change our coordinape rounds within the Marketing Guild, we need a proposal that is accepted by the guild. A Constitution Amendment (see Marketing Guild Constitution Chapter 6) is not needed because our Coordinape Setup is not an item of the constitution
This proposal follows the guild consensus about the development direction of our coordinape system. The majority (93%) voted for limited access to coordinape rounds within the Marketing Guild. In order to avoid subjective judgment about the activity of a member, we need to rely on on-chain signals that help to proof the active contribution of a guild member. Completing bounties on DeWork is rewarded with a DeWork NFT which can be used as proof-of-contribution. The proposed solution is that we take the list of monthly bounty completions (= Monthly Bounty Payment CSV) and add those members proactively/automatically to the Coordinape Rounds for the current season. This reduces the administrative workload by removing the need for a sign-up form for Coordinape altogether. It is important to note that the completed bounty needs to be within the current season to be allowed in the coordinape round. In addition to the bounty hunters, all (Micro) Role Holders are automatically qualified for the coordinape epoch
