In regards to the guild section, I don’t think this should exist already and is probably confusing for users. What should be posted in there, how will it be used, etc. Given the mention from Above Average Joe (The possibility to use GM as an alternative communication platform for the DAO), I think we need to approach this again with upcoming GM updates: Token-Gates & Chat Topics (synchronous chats)

  Suggestions for Channel Architecture

• Root

  • Announcements: Only communication from GM admins that are about the communication on and from GM. No bDAO related news (i.e. project updates like Fight Club or Proposal Voting, etc.)
  • General: No explanation needed. Everything that does not fit elsewhere
  • Governance: Votings, Elections, Proposals, etc.
  • Projects: Updates from our various projects (i.e. Fight Club, Bounty Board, Metafactory, etc.) that help to stay on top of the news
  • Research & News
  • Memes: Yeah memes. Nuff said
  • Promotional Content: A place where the marketing guild can operate if there is content from outside the dao (Paid Campaigns)

  <aside> 👷‍♀️ I would only start to add the guild channels once the chat topic (synchronous chat à la Discord) is implemented. To separate it a bit more from our external communication, the guild channels could be token gated. This would also allow us to add a section with Forum Proposals that are not viewable or editable without holding BANK tokens
